Terms and Conditions

The terms and conditions set out here constitute a binding contract between Fractangular Gathering Management and the individual who purchases and holds a ticket in relation to Fractangular Gathering (“the event”) held in Buckland Tasmania.

  1. Entry and attendance to the event is in accordance with these terms and conditions and the guidelines set out under Festival Information on this website www.fractangular.com.au
     
  2. Management reserves the right to refuse entry and or remove any uncompliant personnel from the event site and the event at any time. Police may be brought into matters if deemed necessary by management.

  3. The event is held on private property therefore any personnel found without a compliant ticket and wristband and or confirmed involvement with The Event may result in claims as trespassing and could result in prosecution. You must remain within set Festival boundaries. Persons found outside the boundaries will be considered trespassers and subject to prosecution.

  4. Official wristbands are to be worn at all times. If you do not wear a wristband, you will be escorted off site.

  5. You must observe Festival arrival and departure times, as posted on Festival website in due time.

  6. ABSOLUTELY NO GLASS TO BE BROUGHT ON SITE

  7. This is a licensed event, patrons are strictly prohibited from bringing alcohol onsite or into the event and campgrounds. Car checks will take place on arrival, any alcohol found upon entry and during the event will be confiscated. Alcohol will be available to purchase at the event bar.

  8. The Purchase of alcohol for a minor is illegal. Underage drinkers, excessive drinkers and or patrons displaying antisocial behaviour may be removed from the event or be dealt with by the police in more serious cases.

  9. ID is required at the gate. If you hold an 18+ ticket you must show ID at the gate, failure to do so will result in an underage wristband – this means your exempt from purchasing alcohol from the bar.

  10. The event is all ages. 10 years old and under are free entry with proof of age (Birth Certificate), no proof of age will be charged a child ticket price. Under 18 years old must be accompanied by a ticket holding parent or guardian.

  11. Tickets are non-refundable and will not be replaced if lost, stolen or damaged. 

  12. There are no single day tickets or day passes. Your ticket is to attend the whole festival.

  13. Management reserves the right to change the event line up, date or venue without prior notification. If the event is cancelled in whole or in part by Act Of God or Act of War or industrial dispute or for any event outside the control of Management then refunds will be at the discretion of the event management. If the event    is cancelled for any other reason, Management will refund to the Ticket Holder the ticket price (excluding booking fees, processing surcharge, delivery or mail fees) upon request by the Ticket Holder. Tickets bought from retail shops must be returned to place of purchase to apply for a refund.

  14. The following items must not be brought onsite: animals (with exception to registered guide dogs), alcohol, GLASS, flares, fireworks, explosives, large and or professional sound systems.

  15. Wristbands will be placed on by our gate staff at the gate with a gap of 1 finger maximum between wrist and band. It takes a knife or a pair of scissors to remove a wristband they don’t just “fall off”. Make sure it is are worn at all times during the event, if for some reason you find yourself forcefully removing your wristband, make sure you get a replacement straight away from the info point – you will need the one that has "broken off" to obtain a new one, or you will be charged the gate entry fee.

  16. Patrons found in the festival site without a wristband will be escorted to the gate to purchase a wristband. Anyone refusing to comply will be escorted off site by police as this is deemed trespassing.

  17. AND REMEMBER ABSOLUTELY NO GLASS.
