Anna is a teacher in Southern Tasmania who spends a lot of time with her classes out in their school’s bushland. Over the years she has been fascinated as she watches children interact with the natural world whilst creating master pieces.
Anna has a deep passion for creating Bush Art with children. They often become deeply immersed in a journey of creativity and story telling as they find inspiration from the natural world. Anna will be running workshops for children on Saturday and Sunday. Children will have the opportunity to create with bush treasures. You will be using natural materials such as sticks, seeds, stringy bark, dogwood, wood offcuts, flowers, clay, string and stones. Experiences on offer will include weaving, creating talking sticks, mandalas, fairy homes, timber sculptures, dream catchers and anything else a child dreams up. Children can take their creations home.
